Stockholm

It's finally beautiful in Stockholm. This morning the city was shrouded in thick fog, and when we disembarked the train to head back to the apartment, you could only see about 100 yards in front of you. But the sun has burned it off, and it's warm and nice now, at least 60 degrees and the best day in a string of good weather that we've had since Friday.

It's been a remarkably beautiful autumn here in America with clear air and cool breezes with some 80 degree temperatures thrown in on Sunday...hot enough to play volleyball in the pool.

But we're bracing for a nor'easter on Thursday (25th) with the weather gurus predicting 40 knots of wind on the bay and 22 foot waves in the Gulf Stream. "Fall" is here and living-up to its literal definition of falling temps, leaves and spirits.

Ahhh.....one must embrace this seeming "fall" or otherwise miss the meaning of the seasons altogether....in nature and in our souls.

Peace,
