Again, another article I'll submit for publication, this time to Spinsheet, the magazine about the Chesapeake. As always, wish me luck.
Unfortunately, due to copyright issues I don't want to mess with, I had to remove this post. Look for the real article in Spinsheet magazine, it should be published sometime between April and July 2008.

Hey....you might want to check-out what the ethical (or otherwise) guidelines exists as it concerns using people's names in articles for publication.
I'm sure an editor would set you straight before publishing this piece in a magazine, but maybe it's something that should be looked into for future reference and or articles. Also, the people you've mentioned might not want their lives exposed to the public.....just a thought....you wouldn't want to lose friends over what started as a well-intentioned article.
And remember the hardest part of writing is facing the scrutiny of an/the editor no matter how good you think you're writing is...an unbiased opinion with more writing experience might think otherwise and ask for a revision.
(Yeah,yeah!!)
Hey Broskee! I'm finally getting around to catching up on your blogs. Its 12:53 AM here in the states and I am finally feeling better from being sick so I decided to clean my room (haha remember when you would get the urges real late to rearrange your room, thats what it reminded me of, and then I decided to read your blogs and then listen to some music and write in my journal. Anyway, this entry made me realize that I really really think I want to move near Annapolis after student teaching. Just the way you described it and how you still are not sick of it after all these years and how I love it too and it brings back memories of us being kids on the boat. Anyway, I really think I want to and I can picture myself getting off from teaching and like going for a run down town and then meeting u and mia for an evening sail or something. I hope you will be around if I do that. Love you!! -Butt Butt
